Linguistic Phenoms™
The Masters of Languages
P# 1
The tropics have some of the most desirable weather for relaxation, and many seek them for just that reason. One man, however, sought them for another reason: refuge. His last name was Castillo; his first name only he knows. Considering how familiarized he was with the Caribbean Islands, especially Puerto Rico (PR) and the Dominican Republic (DR), it’s possible that his origin is from one of those two tropical islands.
He had traveled to Europe in search of knowledge. Eventually, he found an Italian scientist who took him in and showed him different trades of engineering, especially in the composition of the elements, metallurgy and metalloid. After nearly a decade, he became an expert in these fields, as well as others.
A scientist who went by the fictitious name of Cesphron took Castillo in and assigned him to a special project he had been working on for the longest time, perhaps a half century or more.
P# 2
While working on the project, Castillo learned advanced mechanical engineering, as well as neurology. He developed a unique link between man and machine and called this link "NeuroMech." It became one of Cesphron’s crucial tools for the special project.
Eventually, Cesphron was forced to seek additional help to accelerate the advancement of the top-secret project he had been working.
Cesphron put together a team of the most intelligent scientists in the world. It was in the introductory meeting that Castillo met a neuropsychiatrist expert named Steve Meredith Jr.
At one point during the project, a meltdown occurred, killing many of the scientists. The surviving scientists scattered, going their separate ways when they realized that the project was a bad omen. But it wouldn’t be easy escaping what they had begun.
Immediately after the meltdown, Cesphron prepared a scout of specially trained soldiers, mostly from the Sardinian Commandos, to seek out and bring back the scientists who had gone their own ways. The project was far from over.
P# 3
When Castillo left after the meltdown, he took some of the technology with him, which helped him advance quickly with the design and building of a secret underwater facility in the Caribbean Island of the Dominican Republic.
He had to move quickly, as the island was small and left little room for hiding. He was in the open, and was one of the first after which Cesphron sent the special scout teams. Steve Meredith Jr. was another that Cesphron tried to retrieve. They were some of the most crucial talents for the experiment’s success.
Castillo recruited lots of bodies to help him with the construction of the facility, and at the same time to help him elude the advancing scout teams that Cesphron had sent after him.
Eventually, through trial and error, the facility was completed. Castillo now had a secure hiding place, one which Cesphron’s minions could never reach.
In this tropical island of Dominican Republic, Castillo would meet some interesting characters, including some young women with a knack for languages. They would eventually become known as the Linguistic Phenoms, a name Castillo chose for them because of their incredible ability to learn and remember many different languages.
